It’s already February of 2012. I can’t believe how time goes so fast!!
I’ve realized today that I skipped my ‘New Year ceremony’ this year. At the first month of the year, there are things I always do. I buy the little scheduler note and write down all the events or tasks ahead and make yearly plans. The plans could be vague but by doing this, I like to see an overview of that year so I could make a specific daily plan.
Well, one of my friends said, “Only Making a plan and doing nothing is always your problem.”
Yeap, Yeap, I agree. but I believe making a plan is better than not making a plan. ;)
I’d been swamped and stressed out by so much of work during January and I’ll just use it for my lame excuse. but no more excuses are allowed! It’s time to reorganize my life for 2012!
I love to read this book “Coach Yourself to Success by Talane Miedaner” to start over my unorganized life. Success doesn’t necessary have to mean famous or glorious achievement. I believe success means to overcome your personal goals.
There are a couple of dangers in going after really big goals before you’ve taken the time to get your life in basic order.
First, you may achieve your goal, but it may not last. … You probably seen it happen to friends who sacrifice all to go for their goal, achieve it, and find the success short-lived. … That may simply be a case of not having laid the proper foundation, so when the first windstorm or calamity strikes, the whole thing crumbles to ruins. …
The second danger is that you reach your goals and then not feel fulfilled or satisfied. A reporter once asked me what was the number one reason why people don’t reach their goals. I told her it is that they pick the wrong goals in the first place. … These aren’t your true dreams or goals, but you may have been seduced into them with slick advertising. … Before you can figure out what makes you really happy, you need to handle the basics in life.
Start energizing your life by getting rid of everything you are putting up with.
To Increase your natural power:
Among those things above, I really recommend that you should try #1. Eliminate all those petty annoyances. Make the list of everything you are tolerating that drains your energy, makes you irritable, and wears you down. You must write them down not to keep a mental list in your head. It really works! You’ll find yourself cross them off on the list in a few days, weeks, months later and feel much lighter. I cross off 4 lists already since I’ve started it today. :)
